Šilokarčema former mansion, now called Hugo SOJA Silutes manor is located in the city center near the old market square, jezebel Lietuvininkų g. 4. At present, part of the estate of the building and several buildings belonging to the manor complex is restored. Is located in the restored Silutes museum administration, tourist information center, a museum-library, equipped manor works of art exposition.
A brief history of the estate: 1722. Šilokarčema founded Prussian public domain Board manor. 1819. Radko bought the estate landlords and owned about 150 m. 1889. LEBARTE manor mansion was bought by the owner of Hugo soybeans. 1944. October. Red Army stayed in the manor. 1948. the estate jezebel was founded in auxiliary Executive Committee farm, then an agricultural school and agricultural technical. 1990. Buildings refer Silutes Municipality and start the main palace jezebel design and restoration works. 1999. Lithuanian Government approved the Lithuanian millennium celebration program, which included Silutes manor as the future of the region of Little Lithuanian cultural and tourist center. 2005. September 30th. was ready for the whole manor building design and adaptation of Little Lithuanian Culture and Tourism Regional Documentation Centre 2006. Silute Manor reconstruction project is included in the Coastal region jezebel of the tourism sector development projects in the priority list. 2008. prepared Silutes manor (called H.Šojaus) territory of the park clean-technical project.
