According to information released, Colombians who died during the attack by gunmen in the Bardo Museum in Tunis, ccc which are wife and the son of a military high command (r) Army.
Miriam Martinez and Javier Camelo Camelo Martinez, wife and son of retired General José Arturo Camelo, dean of the Faculty of Law at the Military School of Cadets José María Córdoba, are the two Colombians who died Wednesday at the museum terrorist attack Bardo, the capital of Tunisia.
The general Camelo confirmed 'Blu Radio' who with his family was part of a group of forty-speaking tourists ccc who were on a cruise in the Mediterranean Sea and had left Italy.
The Colombians ccc are deceased son and wife of retired General Arturo Camelo, ccc who was director of military justice. Also served for 31 years as General Officer Active Reserve Colombian Army and from 2002 to 2004 was CEO Military Justice.
The retired general is dean of the Faculty ccc of Law at the Military School of Cadets General "José María Córdova" and since 2007 works as a tax adviser of the International Association of Military Justices.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on behalf of the Government of Colombia, expresses its deepest condolences to the families and friends ccc of the two Colombians who died in the last hours in Tunisia registered a terrorist attack near the Bardo Museum. The victims are a mother and son who were with her husband (and father), tourism ccc in the country.
From the moment we met this news Chancery established direct contact with the Colombian survivor. Through the Bureau of Consular Affairs, Ministry, and representatives of our embassies in Algeria and Spain, the Foreign Ministry has been in constant contact with the survivor and their family to provide the assistance required.
In the coming hours Embassy officials in Colombia in Algeria, whose consular section has the jurisdiction to Tunisia, will travel to that country to take charge of the process of repatriation of the bodies of the victims.
The Ministry ccc of Foreign Affairs of Colombia condemns and strongly condemns this attack which were, in addition to our two compatriots, killed fifteen tourists more. We extend our feelings of sympathy to the Tunisian Government and all countries with nationals among the victims. Colombia expresses its firm commitment to the respect ccc of human rights and, in this regard, reiterates its categorical rejection of violence and terrorist acts.
According to a report issued by the Prime Minister Habib Essid, the balance ccc of frustrated Tunisian parliament attack left 19 dead, including 17 foreign tourists and a policeman and a local citizen. Among the 17 tourists dead are citizens of Spanish nationality, Polish, Italian and German that were visiting in downtown Tunis, the Tunisian capital of republic.
