"The hidden Malmo" is about the growing group of Miami residents who are not studying or are in the public supply systems. - I see clear trends of increased gaps in Malmö. This includes everything from income munich and housing segregation to children's everyday lives and health of the individual. Salonen has in its first report made a broad analysis of the city and its residents in search of who Malmö author really is. He has been based on statistics from the years 1990 to 2008 and examined the factors that health inequalities, household livelihood and housing munich segregation, but also migratory flows to and within the city. - Young people move to Malmö to study or work. The second report, which Salonen authored with Anna Angelin and Torbjörn Deer, both PhDs in social work at the University of Lund, Malmö is all about children and families in economic vulnerability. - We saw in last year's depth of child poverty report that child poverty in Malmo stands out nationally. Given that we know from research is that children's economic conditions during childhood are important for their current life situation and health as their future possibilities, this is a very important area, says Salonen. A battery of measures
Together with his research colleagues, he has studied how social work with families in financial vulnerability, noting that there is a great need of conscious and active municipal strategies munich for dealing with these families. - Based on the target of halving child poverty in Malmö in 2020, we have developed a battery of local government actions and policies.
